UNLV beats Air Force 72-56 in MWC tournament
LAS VEGAS (AP) Anthony Bennett scored 23 points and UNLV defeated Air Force 72-56 in the quarterfinals of the Mountain West Conference on Wednesday. The third-seeded Rebels (24-8) will play Colorado State in Friday's semifinals. The second-seeded Rams beat Fresno State 67-61. UNLV shot 51 percent, with Bennett making 10 of his 14 shots. He also grabbed seven rebounds.

LAS VEGAS (AP) Anthony Bennett scored 23 points and UNLV defeated Air Force 72-56 in the quarterfinals of the Mountain West Conference on Wednesday.

The third-seeded Rebels (24-8) will play Colorado State in Friday's semifinals. The second-seeded Rams beat Fresno State 67-61.

UNLV shot 51 percent, with Bennett making 10 of his 14 shots. He also grabbed seven rebounds.
