USU's Barnes new NCAA basketball chair for 14-15
INDIANAPOLIS (AP) Utah State athletic director Scott Barnes has been chosen as the NCAA Division I basketball committee chairman for 2014-15. He's already on the committee and will spend this season as the vice chairman to Wake Forest athletic director Ron Wellman. Barnes played basketball at Fresno State and went on to play professionally in Germany, then began his coaching career at the high school and club levels.
