Aroldis Chapman RP - CIN:
May 24, 10:41PM: Chapman slams...
Aroldis Chapman allowed a couple of baserunners, but struck out the side in the ninth inning on Friday to preserve a three-run lead and earn his 11th save of the season. Chapman hasn't been nearly as dominant as he was a season ago, but has still posted a 2.74 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 39/10 K/BB ratio through his first 23 innings. With Sean Marshall on the disabled list and Jonathan Broxton struggling, his job remains extremely secure.

Ryan Hanigan C - CIN:
May 24, 10:41PM: Ryan Hanigan's...
Ryan Hanigan blasted a three-run homer on Friday, helping to power the Reds to a 7-4 victory over the visiting Cubs. His three-run blast capped off a five-run uprising in the fourth inning off Scott Feldman. It was Hanigan's lone hit in four trips to the plate in the game. He's off to a very slow start offensively, hitting .167/.263/.258 with two homers and eight RBI through his first 21 games. He remains a fringe option in two-catcher leagues.

Nick Markakis RF - BAL:

Bronson Arroyo SP - CIN:
May 24, 10:38PM: Arroyo turns in...
Bronson Arroyo turned in a quality start in Friday's victory over the Cubs, allowing three runs on six hits over his six innings. Arroyo walked two while striking out a pair in the game. The Cubs jumped on him for three runs in the second inning, including a two-run homer by Scott Feldman, but he battled back nicely and shut their offense down for the remainder of his night. While the strikeout rate will never be impressive, the veteran right-hander has proven to be an asset in mixed leagues, going 5-4 with a 3.39 ERA and 1.13 WHIP through his first 66 1/3 innings. He'll look to keep things rolling when he takes on the Indians in Cleveland on Wednesday.

Chris Tillman SP - BAL:
May 24, 10:38PM: Tillman gives up...
Chris Tillman yielded three runs in five innings Friday in a win over the Blue Jays. Tillman lived dangerously, as he allowed a season-high 10 hits and a pair of homers, but he was able to avoid disaster. He walked none and matched a season-high with seven strikeouts. Tillman has allowed 10 home runs in 58 2/3 innings this season, but still owns a fine 3.68 ERA on the year. He'll square off against the Nationals next week.

Luis Valbuena 3B - CHC:
May 24, 10:37PM: Luis Valbuena has...
Luis Valbuena had a decent night at the dish in Friday's loss to the Reds, going 2-for-3 with a double, run scored and RBI. Valbuena hasn't been great, but has done enough to lock up the everyday job as the Cubs third baseman for the time being. Through his first 38 games, he's hitting .257/.361/.442 with five homers and 15 RBI. He could be worth a look as an injury replacement in deeper mixed leagues, especially playing half his games at the friendly confines of Wrigley Field.

Scott Feldman SP - CHC:
May 24, 10:37PM: Scott Feldman...
Scott Feldman turned in his worst outing of the season in Friday's loss to the Reds, allowing five runs on seven hits over his 5 1/3 innings. Feldman walked one and punched out five on the night. All of the damage against him came in the fourth inning and stemmed from his inability to keep the ball in the yard. Joey Votto opened the scoring with a solo home run, and Ryan Hanigan tacked on a three-run shot. He did his part on offense at least, launching a two-run homer in the second inning. Despite the poor outing, Feldman still sports a tidy 2.80 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 44/19 K/BB ratio on the season. He'll attempt to get back on track when he takes on the White Sox at home on Wednesday.
