Margus Hunt DE - CIN:

Bengals agreed to terms with No. 53 overall pick DE Margus Hunt. One of the draft's most unique prospects, Hunt is a native of Estonia going on 26 years of age. The SMU product didn't light up the stat-sheet in college, but tore up the Combine, running a 4.60 40-yard dash and 1.62 ten-yard split. A mountainous 6-foot-8, 277 pounds, Hunt managed an eye-popping 38 bench-press reps. Bengals.com believes Hunt could be a frequent inactive as he learns the NFL game as a rookie, but his upside is definitely off the charts. It's just a matter of harnessing it, which is never easy.

Nate Burleson WR - DET:

Nate Burleson (leg) has been a full participant in Lions OTAs. "I wasn't supposed to; I was told not to (practice)," Burleson said. "But it's like I always told you guys, if I can walk I can run, and if I can run I can play. ... It's as healed up as it's going to get." Burleson will likely take it easy before training camp, but his leg is no longer an issue. Burleson will fill-in as the Lions' No. 2 receiver until Ryan Broyles (torn ACL) is ready to return.

Hakeem Nicks was a no-show for Giants OTAs Wednesday. Coach Tom Coughlin was steamed by Nicks' absence from the "voluntary" sessions. "He should be here," Coughlin said after professing ignorance as to why Nicks wasn't present. Recovering from a knee scope, Nicks wouldn't have been a full participant even if he showed. Going into the final year of his rookie contract, Nicks could be looking to avoid further injury, or perhaps signaling that the time to negotiate a new deal is now.

Broncos waived RB Mario Fannin. The 2011 undrafted free agent has yet to play a down thanks to a 2011 torn ACL and 2012 torn Achilles' tendon. Even if he was healthy, he was never going to survive the numbers game in Denver. Injuries have likely wrecked Fannin's shot of ever stepping onto an NFL field.

Ravens second-round LB Arthur Brown is recovering from sports-hernia surgery, and will be sidelined 4-6 weeks. It means Brown should miss next month's minicamp, and is questionable for the start of training camp. It's a minor blow to the Ravens' inside linebacker corps on the heels of Rolando McClain's retirement as they look to replace Ray Lewis and Dannell Ellerbe. The good news is, Brown is in no danger of missing regular-season games, and should get plenty of reps in the preseason. He's just losing some helpful development time. Brown is still going to start as a rookie.

The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed McCray, a seventh-round draft pick, to a four-year contract. McCray is the second of the team's eight draft picks to sign. Fellow cornerback Jeremy Harris signed a similar deal Monday. Under the NFL's rookie slotting system, McCray gets a signing bonus around $70,000. He will count about $420,000 against the team's salary cap in 2013.
