Deonte Thompson WR - BAL:
May 20, 10:22PM: Thompson has...
The Baltimore Sun reports the Ravens "think" Deonte Thompson has the "inside track" to the No. 2 receiver job. "[Thompson] could sneak in there, he looks different, is fast and catches everything," coach John Harbaugh said. "But the other guys like [Tandon] Doss and [David] Reed have done well and worked hard during the offseason. As I've always said, the best player will play." Thompson was signed as an undrafted free agent out of Florida last year, and he caught just five passes for 51 yards in six games as a rookie. At 6-foot, 203, Thompson ran a blazing forty time of 4.32 at the Gators' Pro Day before turning heads at OTAs last spring. The competition for the Ravens' No. 2 receiver spot is going to be one of the top ones to watch.

Gabe Carimi G - CHI:
May 20, 9:43PM: Carimi working...
Bears G/T Gabe Carimi is working out with former Pro Bowl C LeCharles Bentley in Arizona and is reportedly "light years" better than he was in 2012. Bentley now runs O-Line Performance Academy after a knee injury ended his career in 2006. Carimi trained with Bentley prior to the 2011 draft. "Gabe can't go back to Chicago and be the player he was," Bentley said. "If he (does), he's failed and I've failed him, to be quite honest, and we've failed one another." Carimi is skipping OTAs, but he'll be in Chicago for mandatory minicamp in June.

Leon Hall CB - CIN:
May 20, 8:50PM: Leon Hall dealing...
Bengals RCB Leon Hall will miss some OTAs with a torn thumb ligament. It's unclear when the injury occurred, but Hall did it while lifting weights. He's expected back at some point during the ten OTA practices, but it wouldn't be a surprise if the Bengals let the veteran take it easy until training camp. Pro Football Focus graded Hall out as its No. 25 cornerback last season.

Troy Polamalu S - PIT:
May 20, 8:29PM: Troy Polamalu...
Steelers SS Troy Polamalu is reportedly in his best shape since his days at USC. The Steelers kick off OTAs on Tuesday. Polamalu missed nine games with a lingering calf injury last season, and the team needs him to be on the field more this year. Three of the Steelers' starting four defensive backs -- Polamalu, FS Ryan Clark, and RCB Ike Taylor -- are all over the age of 32.

Anthony McCoy TE - SEA:
May 20, 7:27PM: Seahawks T McCoy...
Seahawks TE Anthony McCoy was carted off the field with an ankle injury Monday. McCoy hurt the ankle coming out of a cut in 7-on-7 drills. The 2010 sixth-round pick has appeared in all 32 games over the last two seasons, catching 31 passes for 437 yards and three scores. An impressive athlete, McCoy can't afford to miss much time after the team drafted a similar player in Luke Willson.

Cliff Avril DE - SEA:
May 20, 7:25PM: Cliff Avril...
Seahawks DE Cliff Avril is sitting out OTAs with plantar fascia in his foot. Avril has been dealing with the issue for four weeks, but he's still a "couple weeks" away from taking part in on-field drills. Per coach Pete Carroll, Avril will "run some" this week. He'll then need time to rest the foot and "wait it out." Avril is expected to be the Hawks' starting "Leo" pass rusher in Week 1.
